From the moment we contact Stay Lagom we got such an amazing experience. Jordan was always so quick to respond to our quieries, even when we are there, we were contacted daily. The houses are so clean and the main house had such character. It was perfect for a large crew

Stunning getaway on the Northern Irish coast. We had an amazing stay at Stay Lagom with friends, staying in the second house. The place is fully renovated—modern, stylish, and cozy, with a welcoming, homey feel. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, and we loved every minute of our time there. It’s just a 20-minute walk to town, where you’ll find some fantastic cafés (be sure to check out Ursa Minor!) and the beach. The Giant’s Causeway is also only a short drive away, making this the perfect base for exploring the area. We are thinking of coming back with family and taking over the main house.

I absolutely loved everything about Stay Lagom; the design, the rooms, the attention to details are impeccable. The location was superb; proximity to the beach, the city center and restaurants/groceries! I would highly recommend Stay Lagom; there is absolutely nothing Lagom about it!

Our group of 6 (3 couples) stayed in the Hideout cottage last night. It more than met our expectations. The location is perfect - it is quiet and feels rural yet is easy walking distance to the restaurants and bars in Ballycastle and to explore all the stunning scenery of the North Coast. The estate has been beautifully renovated and the Hideout provided perfect accomodation for our group with 3 good sized double rooms and 3 bathrooms. The interior manages to mix the old with the contemporary resulting in a very tasteful stylish comfortable house. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped with great attention to detail. None of us wanted to leave and we're already talking about repeat visits. A "hidden gem" which I can thoroughly recommend, although selfishly part of me would like to keep hidden!

I have recently returned from an amazing stay at Lagom with a group of friends. Firstly, the location is excellent, 45 mins from Belfast Intl airport by car, Ballycastle is 20 mins walk away and the Giants Causeway and other NI sights super close by. The house itself has been renovated to such a high spec and every last detail has been thought of. The bed was comfy with cosy bedding and rooms were spotlessly clean. I particularly loved the open plan lounge and kitchen on the top floor which were perfect for hanging out with friends over breakfast, dinner and at all times in between! The library was also a super cosy place to chill with a book. The honesty box is a great idea and everything was reasonably priced. The things that stand out for me about Lagom are the fact everything has been thought of for travelers, the location and also the hosts. They were so kind, helpful and made our stay absolutely perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. Whilst there, we enjoyed sourdough and pastries from Ursa Minor and a catered dinner from Thyme & Co and I would recommend it all. I have recommended this place to so many people I know and can't wait to return with my 7 year old (also a great place for families!). Thank you, can't wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lagom in Ballycastle is a beautiful b&b, real soul and heart has gone into renovating and styling, and the hosts are super helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for exploring the coast by bus, even better if you drive. Nice cafe Ursa Minor in the town, and the local butcher was so friendly as well. We really appreciated the amenities in the kitchen for preparing our own meals, and the room and lounge are so relaxing to chill out in. Comfiest beds ever! The only downside is having to checkout. Thanks Lagom!

Amazing place! Decor is beautiful. Everything so modern - bedrooms, kitchen and lounge area are fabulous. It was nice to check in and the fridge stocked with beverages. Just pop cash in honesty box or buy online. All priced so reasonably.
